I'm an evolutionary biologist who researches bacteriophages. These viruses infect bacterial hosts and some of them can go from one to a trillion in one hour.
I put them in new adaptive conditions, or alter their genome, then allow them to evolve for many generations. Finally, I observe the phenotypic and genotypic changes. I also do pedagogy research in biology. I'm really interested in communicating information to students in ways that are new to help them generalize the information.
